Garvey was frozen out for much of the season at Kingsholm, making just three Premiership starts, but John Brain believes his new charge will be determined to show his old employers what they have been missing. "He's only 23 years old and he's got something to prove," he said. "Wherever possible we try to sign players who have got something to prove. "It's only two years ago that rugby pundits said he should be a shoe-in for the England team. That was perhaps too early for him but we'll help him develop his game." |
