The Tuts Report The John Brain Interview

It looked too easy, the first real attack and the Bees defence was ripped apart. It would not be as easy again.

It was now the turn of the Warriors to apply the pressure. Again and again they ran at the Bees defence, Gary Trueman and Ben Hinshelwood were in total command of the mid-field and working well together.

Drew Hickey and Neil mason were once again driving holes close into the rucks.

It was very quickly looking very comfortable

It was great rugby to watch, with The Warriors really moving the ball around. Full of confidence and wanting to give the capacity crowd a real performance. A few mistakes started to appear but there to close it of was the ubiquitous Gavin Pfister, he was in great form putting in 150% yet again.

All three backrow caught on camera attacking through the midfield it was just the stuff the crowd had come to see.

Then came the cutting edge with Gary Trueman scything through the Bees defence to set up yet another score for Daren O'Leary

In open play the Warriors were having a party, however in the set piece they were struggling to come to terms with the Bees front row. Sigly who is set to join Plymouth was giving Lee Fortey a torrid time.

Another masterly passage of play with Tommy Hayes creating the space with his miss passes saw the Warriors Midfield open up the Bees defence for the third try. Up stepped his highness and calmly stroked the ball from in front of the posts for a simple conversion.

No rest for the wicked as Werner is used as the Waterboy, delivering cooling relief and seer advice.

Well the mistakes now started to rise as Worcester were full on into attack mode.

Passes were being delivered slowly and for no purpose, the gain was nil!!

Finally Bees intercepted a ludicrous pass and scoored a runaway try.

This gave them heart as they once again galvanised themselves and through their hard working forwards drove a try from a line out and ruck

Worcester 21 : 12 Bees
