What a start to the day
after our long night at the Worcester Beer Festival - up at 06:00!! Mind you self inflicted so not a lot of sympathy from she who should be challenged (carefully) |
Arrived at Sixways ready
to mount the Aston's Express to Twickenham. Just enough time to take a relief before setting off. Low and behold it was all locked up and 50 supporters cross-legged before we even set off |

The first game was
against Bristol and an opportunity to run an eye over Matt Jones. Would he deliver? Just how good is he? |

had conceded a try after a fine break from Lemi, he was going to be a

However the heads did
not drop and neither did the volume from the 100's of Warriors
supporters, who had made their way to Twickenham. On the attack we looked sharp with Miles Benjamin and especially Marcel Garvey showing just how good they are |
Johnny Arr was also
looking good. Wood and Powell got to grips with the defence and we started to wrestle control of the game back |

Wood was outstanding in
attack and when securing the ball. His out and out speed is going to be very dangerous this season. As will be that of Croft at Tigers he is incredibly quick! Back to our boys, the pace and power of the forwards was just too much for Bristol to cope with |

We scored two glorious
tries very wide out on the left which Matt Jones converted with ease. This boy can certainly drop a goal. He did not miss a kick all day. |

Overall a very good display with every player
playing his part. Man of the match for me was between 2 Tom Wood and Marcel Garvey. Marcel was outstanding and fully deserved the MOTM. |
